Directory of U.S. Acupuncture Schools
Interested in learning acupuncture? In the U.S. acupuncturists are required to get a 3 or 4 year degree from an accredited acupuncture school and gain licensure from the state or states in which they plan to practice. States have somewhat different requirements, particularly with regard to whether acupuncturists are required to have training in Chinese herbs, so check with your state to be sure your acupuncture and Oriental medicine training will allow you to get licensed.
